Conestoga 2000® Classic Track & Roller

The foundation of any sliding tarp system is its track & roller. The Conestoga 2000® Classic is designed to bend and flex with severe winds. Like a tree, the upper structure is allowed to sway in the wind, drastically reducing structural damage.

Features

  • Heavy-duty aluminum extruded track for the toughest transportation conditions with its own built-in tow motor bump rail.
  • Engineered weather seal eliminates the need for cumbersome tarp straps.
  • Stainless steel removable V-shaped rolling track insert.
  • Two (2) styles of removable rubber extruded track seals provide versatility for trailers using exterior stake pockets with winch strap and/or chain and binder tie-downs.
  • Machined steel rollers ...The railroad thought it was a great idea and so did our engineers. The unique advantage of the Classic track and roller is its gravitational design allows rollers and the track to bare only on one surface, and not two, so track damage rarely alters their working relationship.
  • High precision pressed in sealed bearings with quick locking snap rings.

Maintenance service programs are available on a quarterly basis to ensure that the Classic system meets its regular service requirements.

  • Advantages

  • Track replacement only occurs as the result of major accidental damage.
  • Stainless steel insert never wears to a point of hindering the rolling performance of the Classic (it's removable).
  • Engineered with the least resistance in mind, the machined rollers and stainless steel surface only make contact with each other on two sides bearing no more rolling surface than the tip of a pen.
  • No need to ever replace a steel roller... Unless you lose it!
  • Bearings are like any constant moving part and performance is subject to operational working conditions.
  • Benefits

  • The Classic track and roller design requires the lowest maintenance of any sliding system on the market.
  • Durability means less down time and no unnecessary parts replacement.
  • Five years down the road the foundation of the Classic is still ready to roll.
  • Higher residual value over the life of the system.
  • After-hours service is available, providing operators the convenience of having their Conestoga systems repaired beyond normal working hours.
